Allison Pregler Bio

Allison Pregler reviews Z-grade films, usually horror and martial arts. Similar the character of The Cinema Snob in that she likes action-oriented films that are dumb. After earning some recognition on the forums on Channel Awesome (under her previous username Obscurus Lupa) She began to review films in the latter half of 2009. The site was up and running through the beginning of 2015, when Obscurus Lupa Presents changed its name to Movie Nights. The host hosts two podcasts on her channel, both of which are based on the Charmed series, and are hosted by Phelous. After a controversial departure from Channel Awesome Allison officially announced on January 20th 2015 that she'd be revamping OLP into an impromptu review show called Movie Nights with an appropriately-shlocky elevator jazz theme. The shows she appeared in Midnight Screenings were usually reviews of awful films for kids or RiffTrax however, she also appeared in occasional adult comedies. She began in late 2009 reviewing films, and began to gain a following on Channel Awesome's Channel Awesome forums. She joined the family of network movie critics. She's appeared on numerous Channel Awesome shows from Atop the Fourth Wall to Phelous & the Movies. She appeared on many episodes on Nostalgia Critic and was a former member of Channel Awesome's family along together with Doug Walker.
