Aspen Ladd started her combat sports career at the age of 14. As well as BJJ classes She also took classes in wrestling, boxing and kickboxing. In the age of 18 years old, Ladd had her debut as an amateur at WCFC. Ladd kept building on her victory in Ultimate Reno Combat, where she won 3 consecutive bouts. She knocked out all her competitors in the initial round. In WCFC Ladd was able to defeat Leslie Rodriguez with a unanimous decision. Aspen beat Silvia Babaeghian, Maddy Simmons and Cynthia Calvillo before facing Cynthia Calvillo in WCFC 9 Cynthia defeated Aspen with a majority vote. It left a blemish on Ladd's amateur record. Ladd bounced back from her defeat to defeat Roma Pawelek, taking her record to eight one. Aspen began her professional career in 2015 when she signed as a player with Invicta FC. Invicta Fc 11, she defeated Ana Carolina Vidal and won the first round by TKO. Invicta 16 also saw Aspen move into the Bantamweight division after winning her battle with Amanda Cooper by armbar in the second round. Aspen utilized her expertise in wrestling to knock out McGill by TKO in the third-round (elbows and punches). Aspen then fought Jessica Hoy (138.1lb at Invicta FC) in an "catchweight"(138.1lb) as Ladd failed to make an appearance at the. Aspen, however, defeated Hoy by using TKO. In her last fight for Promotion, she fought Sijara Eubanks by an unanimous decision in Invicta FC 21. Aspen Ladd's UFC debut came on UFC Fight Night 118 when she fought Lina Lansberg. She outclassed Lina by pound-for-pound, and took the TKO round at the end of the 2nd. She repeated her dominance and picked up a more stunning victory in her next bout against Tonya Evinger in UFC 229. Ladd beat Evinger within the first few seconds and received a bonus for her performance during the evening. Her first major fight at The UFC Fight Night dos Anjos against.
